Detox For A Clean And Energized Body
You probably know it: your body is a bit slow, easily tired and your concentration is nothing to write home about. Going to bed early doesn't help, nor liters of coffee. Your body sends out a cry for help, something has to be done. And that 'what' is very simple: detoxing, or detoxing.
Detox seems to be something of our time, but is in fact centuries old. It was already spoken about in 1300 BC. We have rediscovered detox because of our growing interest in healthy living, weight loss, and beauty from within. That includes a detox cure . Superfoodguru's fresh, cold-pressed juices do just the right thing for you.
DETOX: TOXIC SUBSTANCES OUT, GOOD NUTRITION IN IT
You can follow a detox cure for 1.5, 3, 5 or 7 days. Those who really go for it, do so every month. And once every three months one of the longer courses. With our detox cure, all the toxic material that your body stores 'for later' is removed. At the same time, you drink very healthy food, which makes you feel energetic.
Superfoodguru has only fresh, organic, cold-pressed juices. You can store the juices in the fridge for about five days, where the maximum temperature is no more than 4 degrees. The juices are not pasteurized and contain no preservatives. The bottles are larger than the average juice bottle and completely compostable.
The organic juices are packed with healthy fruit and vegetables. Our recipe development has resulted in the special composition that really benefits you. It is important that before you start a cure, you reduce what bothers our body the most: stress, stimulants such as coffee, tea and alcohol. Sugar and ready-made food must also be phased out. Choose a quiet time for your treatment, not just before a sports match where you have to perform or a party where you go wild.
HOW DOES THE DETOX CURE WORK?
During the detox you only drink the juices, preferably through a straw, so that the juice mixes well with your saliva and you can digest it slowly. Drink as needed, but with at least 2 to 3 hours between each juice. It is wise to drink your last juice or broth in the evening, and then take a 12-hour break. That way your metabolism gets every opportunity to digest everything slowly and take a break. Remember to drink enough water, at least 1.5 liters per day.
The cure also gives you the opportunity to get to know your body and its needs better. It feels a bit crazy at first, but you get used to it quickly. If your appetite really cannot be satisfied in any way by the juices and broth, you can also eat raw or cooked vegetables, a piece of fruit or a few almonds or oilseeds.
WHAT ARE THE RESULTS OF A DETOX TREATMENT?
You want to see the results of your efforts. Logically. Prepare for your largest organ, your skin, to look a lot better. Clean, shiny, radiant. Your face no longer needs make-up.
You get a burst of energy that you haven't felt in a long time. You feel good, healthy and are better able to perform your daily tasks. You're a lot more focused.
Especially novice 'detoxers' will notice that they have less need for stimulants such as coffee, tea and alcohol, and that they sleep better at night. If you do the cure regularly, you will find that decreased need very normal.
You will look at nutrition differently. You already did that during the detox and you will continue to do so. You've learned about the real need for good nutrition, rather than getting rid of a meal. It is now up to you to continue to provide your body with quality nutrition.
All in all a wonderful result! And certainly if you repeat such a detox cure regularly, you schedule them when it suits you best. You can order here .
TIPS FOR AFTER A DETOX TREATMENT
There is also such a thing as aftercare, after a detox cure. We recommend slowly reintroducing solid foods into your diet. Use fresh, raw ingredients for your food. No ready-made meals, but as much vegetable food as possible, no red meat or processed meat such as sausage and other meat products. Avoid all sugar, think of a substitute sweetener such as stevia or maple syrup. And avoid or reduce coffee and alcohol the first week after your detox.
Oops, that sounds pretty strict! But these are our tips, of course you decide for yourself what you do or don't do and how you approach it.
We have another tip: take a closer look at intermittent fasting. You already did it during your detox cure, try to continue it afterwards. Our body is built for that. When man still had to hunt for a piece of meat himself, and had to look for bushes with good berries and nuts in the forest, he was used to eating only when there was something to eat. The human being of that time automatically fasted at intervals. The food was not delivered to the door.
Our body knows that. But because we are used to eating three times a day, our body moves along with that rhythm. It can do no harm at all, in fact it is very wise, not to eat anything after the evening meal until breakfast. Try to make that a 12 hour break. If necessary, adjust a meal time (evening meal or breakfast). No nuts, chips or an evening snack! You will find that it is not that difficult at all. And that it does your body good.
